Scopedog Turbo Custom Sansa Battle Chirico Unit Representation

First off, you can use just the parts in this kit to build the Scopedog Zetra, Lean, and Vokt types — but as you can see in the manual, the molded colors don't match, so painting is required. So really, the value here is just that the parts to represent these variants are provided at all. As for the Balarant Dog turret lens, the Balarant Dog itself hasn't been released yet, so that's also difficult to properly display.

On top of that, a new-mold right arm is included for building the Scopedog Turbo Custom Sansa Battle Chirico unit in collaboration with Expansion Parts Sets 3 and 8, and the existing Red Shoulder is also reused and included. The AP-N runner is reused again as well, but only the body parts from it are actually usable — the rest of the runner ends up as leftover parts. It's a bit of a shame; if they'd just included those two body parts on a new runner, it would've cut down on costs.

So while this is a kit that lets you recreate all sorts of Scopedog variants, painting is required to stay true to the source material, which makes it a bit of an awkward set for straight-build fans. That said, it's clearly a lineup driven by the ambition to cover every single Scopedog variant out there, and if you're a Votoms fan, you'll probably just be glad it exists at all. :-)
