Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Son Gokou has been released as the second Entry Grade (EG) kit. True to the EG concept, small gates are used throughout, and it's a fixed-pose figure kit with an impressive level of color separation. The colors and overall sculpt feel almost identical to the Figure-rise Standard.
The scale itself is pretty close to the Figure-rise Standard, but maybe because there are no joints, it does feel a little smaller overall. That said, thanks to the smooth limbs, it actually looks much cleaner than the Figure-rise Standard when posed in the same position.
Compared to the first release, Kamen Rider Zero-One, the big difference here is that the joints are completely omitted and it's a fully fixed kit — though instead of a standing pose, it's locked into an action pose. You can also plug a support stand into the back of the right foot for a more stable stance, but it stands up fine without one too.
Anyway, at ¥900 it's a high-quality snap-together figure kit that's quick and easy to build, so if you're a Dragon Ball fan, this is a fun one to pick up at a great price. :-)
