The third kit in the Figure-rise Burst series is Mikazuki Augus, the main Gundam pilot from the latest anime <Iron-Blooded Orphans>. True to the series concept, the standout feature is the face and eye parts with perfectly color-separated layered injection molding. The tiny wrinkles under the eyes and even the swirling iris pattern are molded with incredible precision. (See review photos)

Beyond that, the three-dimensional head sculpt and lean yet toned body are well executed... but since he's modeled shirtless, the overall look doesn't exactly come across as pretty or glamorous. The body in particular has seam lines between the muscle sections that are pretty noticeable and a bit annoying. And honestly, the face isn't the pretty-boy type like previous releases Athrun Zala or Kira Yamato either. On top of that, unlike the previous kits where the neck turned freely, this one has a fixed neck, so you can't really change up the pose much.
