Mikumo Guynemer has been released as the third Macross Delta heroine in the Figurerise Burst lineup. I was curious how they'd handle a character with such incredibly long hair, and I was a little surprised by the box being noticeably thicker than the other kits. ^^; Open it up and sure enough, there are a ton of large head parts in there, giving the overall parts count quite a bit of volume.

The basic build quality is similar to the previous kits, but alongside the large head, the light blue bridge sections are all nicely done through color separation, and even the few stray strands of hair are precisely broken out as individual parts. The one downside is that the gradient at the hair tips is handled with stickers, which does feel a bit jarring and leaves you wanting more.

As you can see, this kit has quite a large overall volume, and with the sheer amount of stickers and seals, it takes considerably more effort to build compared to other Figurerise Burst kits. That said, the finished model has the biggest and most impressive presence of the bunch, so it's a pretty satisfying kit visually. Displaying it alongside Freyja Wion and Makina Nakajima makes for a wonderfully colorful combination, and adding the Siegfried kit in the background really rounds it out into a fantastic display piece.

Either way, this is a kit I'd definitely recommend to anyone into cute character kits — especially those who are enjoying Macross Delta. It's also a kit that once again reminded me that pretty girl kits are always better when you collect them all together. :-)
