Fumina Hoshino from Gundam Build Fighters has been released as the 11th entry in the Figurerise Burst lineup. The overall package is similar to previous releases, though one difference is that layered injection is only applied to the eyes, while the eyebrow area on the face is handled with plain parts separation instead.

On top of that, it's a nice touch that you can build it in two configurations — one with the yellow top on, and one in just a tank top. The yellow top looks naturally great too, but I'd imagine more people will end up displaying it in the tank top version where the curves are a bit more on show.

And with the dumbbell-shaped bi-directional ball joint now applied to the neck, head movement is much more flexible — there are quite a few new elements compared to previous kits in various ways. That said, the black band on the tank top is handled with stickers, and while the amount of stickers is less than other kits, it's still a little disappointing knowing that if this had been color-separated too, it would've been a perfect look. (It's not that they couldn't do it — they just didn't..)

The overall quality is, as expected of Figurerise Burst, nicely done with great depth and clean colors — though personally, the face feels just a little less pretty compared to other female Figurerise kits. That said, you could also argue it captures the feel of the original well. Either way, for fans who loved Fumina from Build Fighters, this should make a great addition to the collection. :-)
