The HY2M-MG series is part of the HY2M lineup released between 2002 and 2003, featuring LED light-up units built into MG heads. Each kit includes three MG light-up heads, and the sculpts tend to differ slightly from the original MG heads. All light-up heads share the same LED unit structure, though the LED color varies by kit — white, green, or red. There's no external switch on the LED unit; instead, it uses a Hall IC that remotely switches ON when a magnet gets close. 1. RX-78 Gundam Light-Up Head
This is the same Gundam head that came with Kit No. 1, so it's a duplicate inclusion — and the light-up effect is still just average. Due to the sculpt, it fits better on the v1.5 than the v1.0, and the black area around the eyes will need to be painted or covered with a sticker to really look right.

2. Mass Production Zaku II Light-Up Head
Much like the Char's Zaku II, the sculpt is nearly identical to the original. The power cable section is done in simple plastic parts though, which leaves a bit to be desired in terms of detail. The light-up effect itself is excellent thanks to the mono-eye, and if you just swap in the original power cable, it'd be pretty much perfect.

3. Gundam G3 Light-Up Head
It's identical to the standard Gundam light-up head in every way — the only difference is the molded color.
