The HY2M-MG series is part of the HY2M lineup released between 2002 and 2003, featuring LED light-up units built into MG heads. Each kit includes three MG light-up heads, and the sculpts tend to differ slightly from the original MG heads. All light-up heads use the same LED unit structure, with the LED color varying by kit — white, green, or red. There's no external switch on these LED units; instead, they use a Hall IC that turns on remotely when a magnet comes close. Each head comes with a small magnet, and by attaching it to the stand or the back of the MG's neck with double-sided tape, you can switch the LED on remotely.
