This kit is the Ultra Hawk 001 Gamma, released as No. 13 in the Mecha Collection Ultraman series. It was released alongside the Alpha, Betaand combines with them to form the Ultra Hawk 001.

As expected, it pulls off the overall look nicely with a minimal number of parts, and a dedicated stand is included due to the kit's unique shape. As the section responsible for the large rear wings when combined into the Ultra Hawk 001, it comes out a bit bigger and more imposing than the Beta. There aren't any special gimmicks or moving parts beyond that, so for this review you'll really just want to take a good look at the overall sculpt.

The real highlight of this kit is being able to combine it with the Alpha and Beta to recreate a big, impressive Ultra Hawk 001. The connection point where the Beta and Gamma wings meet doesn't quite line up perfectly, leaving a slight gap, but there's still a real sense of satisfaction in recreating that combination sequence from the show. Compared to the Ultra Hawk 001 released earlier as a standalone kit, this one feels noticeably larger and more impressive. (See the comparison photos above.)

It's also fun that the stands for Alpha, Beta, and Gamma can be combined together as well. Just be aware that the connection points are fairly tight, so be careful not to break anything when pulling them apart after combining.

All in all, this is a kit whose main appeal is that fun combination gimmick — if you want to recreate the Ultra Hawk 001 docking sequence, it's definitely worth building alongside the Alpha and Beta. :-)
