This kit is the Kukulkan Class space destroyer, released as No. 7 in the Mecha Collection Yamato 2199 series. It came out as a paired kit with the Mecha Collection Lasceaux Classreleased alongside it, and the two share a similar color scheme and silhouette.

So all the characteristics are the same as the Rasco-class — the straightforward two-color separation layout is there, and so is the disappointment of the details being hard to see against the white molded color. That said, due to the design, the nose section comes out simpler and a bit smaller than the Rasco-class. There's still no articulation either, so for this review, just taking a good look at the straight build visuals and details should be plenty.

It's a miniature spaceship kit that does come across as a bit plain, but I think the real value here is that various classes of Gatlantis warships — which don't often get released at 1/1000 scale — are being made into plastic kits through the Mecha Collection series. Either way, if you're a Yamato fan, this seems like a fun item to build alongside the Rasco-class. :-)
