This kit is the Cosmo Zero, released as No. 9 in the Mecha Collection Yamato 2199 series. Up until now the Yamato Mecha Collection series had only featured battleships, so this time we're getting a fighter. It comes in Kodai's colors, with a red nose section.

Like its predecessors, it's a miniature kit with fine detail packed into a small size. It includes swappable landing gear along with a bottom ventral fin for recreating the landed configuration. On top of that, you get three underwing weapon options — a high-mobility unit, air-to-ground missiles, and air-to-ship missiles. You pick one of the three and glue it on, so swapping them out easily isn't really an option.

Small as it is, the Cosmo Zero's distinctive look is captured really well, and for a Mecha Collection kit it comes with quite a few different options. If you like the style, this seems like a fun little space fighter model to enjoy casually. :-)
