This kit is the Cosmo Tiger II (Twin/Single Seat Type), released as No. 15 in the Mecha Collection Yamato 2202 series. It's based on the previously released Mecha Collection Mecha Collection Cosmo Tiger II (Single Seat Type)with twin-seat parts added to the mix. New-tooled upper armor and a cannon have been added to recreate the twin-seat configuration.

So the basic characteristics are pretty much identical to the existing single-seat version, and for this review you really just need to take a close look at the twin-seat cannon added on top. The single-seat upper armor is also included, so you can choose to build it either way depending on your preference.

As you can see, it's a variation kit with just a few extra parts added. It's not a great deal for those who already built the single-seat version, but it seems like a good option for anyone who hasn't tried the Cosmo Tiger II yet. Either way, if you're a fan of the Yamato's fighter craft, this looks like a kit worth building at least once. :-)
