Detail shots

This kit is a two-pack set of the Karakrum-Class Battleship released as a special version in the Mecha Collection Yamato 2202 series. It's literally a combined set of the Mecha Collection KaraKrum Class Combatant Shipreleased as Mecha Collection Yamato 2022 No. 3, in two different colors. The green version is completely identical to the original, while a new light gray version has been added.

Since this is simply a color variant combo kit with no stand swaps or new sculpts, for this review you really just need to take a good look at the new light gray version. It's a really well-done warship kit that shows off some of the best three-dimensionality and sculpt quality in the entire Mecha Collection Yamato lineup.

Sure, it's just a simple color variant combo kit — but if you were a fan of the stylish Karakrum-Class Battleship, this special version should be more than tempting enough. :-)
