Since this is a prototype, there's no real packaging and not even a manual;;
But the structure is simple enough that you can build it just fine without one ^^;

Floor detail. There are 10 mounting holes to secure various accessories.
In practice though, the only thing you'd really need to fix down is the crane that comes with Type B..
The back of the base has no detail whatsoever (well.. I guess that's to be expected? ;)
Mechanical Chain Base Type A.
Type A lets you attach 4 hanger structures to the back wall.
These hangers seem to be meant for displaying various weapons.
Just plug the hangers into whichever holes you like.

Mechanical Chain Base Type B.
The Type B wall lets you mount a single corridor section wherever you want.
The star of Type B is the crane.
The top of the crane can be built as either a lift platform or a claw arm(?).

Mechanical Chain Base Type C.
The Type C wall lets you install an L-shaped corridor section.
Type C's accessories include a missile stand and.. hmm.. what's that other thing?? -_-a ;; No manual, so there's no way to tell;
The reason this product is called a 'Chain' Base is because each base can be linked together.
You can stack them upward as well, not just side by side.

Basically, this base is optimized for around 1/144 scale.
Displayed with the HGUC First in Type A configuration.
Using Type A's various weapon-mounting accessories.
The shield stand fits the First so perfectly it's like it was made for it.
The HGUC Full Vernian displayed with the Type B base.
Why the Full Vernian of all things?
No particular reason at all. ^_^;
You can see that the crane height is just right for 1/144 scale.
The HGUC Acguy paired with the Type C base.
Somehow a Zeon unit feels a bit out of place here;; Something like a cave or swamp setting would suit it better. (Feels a little sad somehow??)
The heroes of the White Base gathered on three connected bases. All HGUC, of course.
This shot shows all the accessories from Types A/B/C assembled together
and displayed with the HGUC First (Operation V version).
It looks a bit mismatched in size when displayed with 1/100 MG kits..
For displaying with 1/100 scale, you pretty much need to stack the base two levels high.
A photo with the MG Zaku 2.0, Hi-Nu, and Perfect Zeong.
The Perfect Zeong is, as expected, an oversized beast that puts even the PG to shame — it looks awkward no matter where you put it -_-;
The 1/35 MG Ingrams lined up.
Even if the scale doesn't quite match, they actually go together pretty well.
No fewer than 6 Chain Bases were used in the photo above.
Together with the Demonbane prototype, one of the chunkiest kits in the Kotobukiya lineup.
Given the sheer size of the kit.. you need to stack the base two levels high just to make it work.
With the 1/72 Armored Core 6-kit set.
They go together pretty nicely.
Displayed with the 1/72 Armored Core Mirage, 1/144 SRW R-Gun, and 1/72 Ghost in the Shell Jigabachi.
The SRW kits at 1/144 scale are basically the best match for this base.
And finally, something a little different.. paired with the 1/144 EX Hildolf.

I'd love to shoot more display photos with even more kits,
but pulling them out one by one for photos is quite the grind.. ^_^;;;
