MG kits released in 2010 basically all come bundled with 30th anniversary clear parts, and the Red Frame was no exception — it came with 1 clear runner. What's unusual about this kit, though, is that it also comes with additional bonus clear parts as an overseas exclusive (probably limited to the first production run).

The single clear runner included for the 30th anniversary is mostly limited to around the crotch area and the backs of the hands, but combine it with the remaining 3 plus clear parts runners from the bundle and you can achieve a full clear look. Basically, all the white exterior armor can be swapped out for clear versions, letting the molded detail inside the clear armor show through nice and clean. It ends up being a proper full clear armor kit — something you don't often see at the MG level.

Since it's a bundle at no extra cost, it's a welcome bonus either way, and displaying it in full clear looks pretty gorgeous. That said, since the inner frame is a very vivid red, it does come across as a little intense at times. :-)
