This kit is the Gundam Chara Collection (Character Collection) 1/20 Icelina Eschonbach, released in 1981. The Chara Collection is a series of injection-molded figure model kits molded in a single ivory color and assembled with glue. There are no real moving parts to speak of, but it's a fun little series where you can build figures of the main Gundam characters with a simple assembly process.

The 8th entry in the series is Icelina Eschonbach, girlfriend of Garma Zabi. Even so, there was quite a bit of debate over the fact that a character who only appears in about two episodes made it into the Chara Collection lineup of 10 figures. Honestly, a lot of people felt that Hayato Kobayashi, the Gun Tank pilot, should have been included instead of Icelina. I mean, Kai Shiden made the cut but Hayato didn't... It's hard not to suspect they just shoehorned her in to keep a 5-to-5 gender ratio. (This isn't some dating show, after all...)

Minor controversy aside, she does come out looking quite elegant in a princess-style costume that suits her character as the only daughter of the mayor of New York. Along with the arms-crossed pose, an open left arm is also included so you can swap between the two. Sure, the sculpt is a bit rough around the edges for something from 1981, but as a female figure, this is actually a pretty graceful and well-done model kit. :-)
