This kit is the Gundam Chara Collection (Character Collection) 1/20 Bright Noah, released in 1981. The Chara Collection is a series of injection-molded figure model kits assembled with glue, molded in a single ivory color. There's no real articulation to speak of, but it's a fun little build that lets you put together figures of Gundam's main characters.

The 9th entry in the series is Bright Noah, captain of the White Base. The face does a great job capturing that old-man look of his — which feels pretty ironic given that he's supposed to be 19 (...). Like some of the earlier releases, Bright Noah lets you choose between 2 arm styles: one with the arm raised and one with it lowered. Sure, being a 1981 kit means the sculpting is a bit rough around the edges, but there's something special about the fact that all the key White Base crew members got their own figure model kits like this, one by one. :-)
