This kit is the Gundam Chara Collection (Character Collection) 1/20 Lalah Sone, released in 1981. The Chara Collection is a series of injection-molded figure model kits assembled with glue, molded in a single ivory color. There's no real articulation to speak of, but there's a fun simplicity to building your favorite Gundam character figures with just a straightforward assembly.

Rounding out the series is Lalah Sone — the pivotal character who connected with Amuro and awakened him as a Newtype. Her signature pose came out nicely, though the small contact area on the soles of her feet made it a bit tricky to get her to stand upright on the display stand. Personally, I think the face sculpt turned out to be the most convincing of the bunch, and with a proper paint job, I think you could end up with a figure that has a pretty high likeness. Either way, this kit feels significant simply for completing the lineup of 10 major Gundam characters. :-)
