This is the 1/144 Gundam Sandrock Custom released as part of the old Gundam W Endless Waltz series. Just like the previous kits in the line, the original Sandrock has been remodeled with more modern proportions — and as you can see in the comparison photos above, the proportions change here is more dramatic than any of the other kits.

Structurally, it offers great articulation and solid joint strength — though honestly the joints are so stiff they're almost too tight, to the point where posing actually becomes a bit of a hassle. "Too much of a good thing" really comes to mind here. It's noticeably stiffer than the previous kits in the series, so you'll want to be careful not to break any parts while posing it.

For weapons, you get two heat shotels that can be stored on the backpack or combined with the shield to form the Cross Crusher mode. The weapons attach and hold their position really well, so once you get a pose set it stays put — that's definitely a plus. On top of that, as part of the Fighting Action series, a dynamic forward-leaning torso is also included, which comes in handy for action poses.

Sure, the overly stiff joints are a bit of a letdown, but the weapons and pose stability are solid, and the visuals and proportions are honestly up there with HGUC level — so even now, this old kit is still worth recommending. :-)
