This is the old 1/100 Real Type Guncannon, and just like its predecessors, it's a version with darker molded colors and added waterslide decals. For the kit's structural details, check out the 1/100 Guncannon review— the molded colors have been changed to a gray, black, and deep red combination, giving it a heavier, more imposing look.

That said, true to the Real Type style, there are yellow stripes here and there, but aside from the feet they're not very noticeable, which makes all that decal work feel a bit underwhelming. The waterslide decals themselves were in good condition and went on without much trouble, but in terms of visual impact, this feels like the weakest decal showing among the 1/100 Real Type lineup.

In the end, this is a kit where the shift to heavier molded colors stands out more than the decals do — it's a pretty straightforward variant kit without anything that really makes it pop. :-)
