This is the old 1/100 Real Type Gelgoog. Unlike the previous Real Type kits that generally went with darker molded colors, this one comes in a desert-ish color scheme that feels just about right. The added decals lean heavily toward white, which — much like the 1/100 Real Type Guncannon — means they tend to show up a little less on the lighter molded color. Since this is also a straight color variation kit, the structural details are the same as the 1/100 Char's Gelgoog review.

Personally, unlike the earlier kits that just went all-in on darker molded colors, I actually prefer this kit's MSV-style desert color scheme. It's got a vibe that wouldn't look out of place even if it showed up in the anime, you know?

Anyway, as a Real Type version with a distinctly different color scheme and some bonus decals thrown in, it seems like a perfectly solid side-story kit worth building for fun if you're a One Year War fan. :-)
