Following the 1/60 Char's Gelgoog, the mass production Gelgoog was also released — just like the Zaku. Since it's essentially the same kit with only the molded color changed, for a more detailed look at the kit's features, check out the 1/60 Char's Gelgoog review.
The biggest selling point is definitely being able to build such a large, imposing Gelgoog for just ¥2500. The joint strength is still a bit shaky, which is a shame, but honestly, just being able to get a kit this big to stand up with the polycaps of the time is probably something to be grateful for.
Anyway, photos don't really do it justice, but in person this thing is bigger and more massive than a typical PG. As always, the mass production type has its own charm that's different from Char's custom, so if you're interested in old large-scale kits, this seems like one you can have a lot of fun with — whether it's a straight build or a full paint job. :-)
