This is the 1/550 Bygro, the Zeon forces' space-use mass-production mobile armor. Those massive arms give it a real sense of presence, though in the end it's a kit where the arms are pretty much the only thing that moves.

The arms themselves have quite a few articulation points and can move more flexibly than you'd expect, and the claws come in both folded and open versions for each hand, so you can choose which to build. That said, as you'd expect from an older kit, the joints along those long arms are a mixed bag — some are loose, some are fine — so holding poses isn't its strong suit.

As for the front mega particle cannons, they can be glued in the deployed position. In my case, I actually kept quickly gluing and ungluing them to get review shots of both configurations. There's also a three-dimensional display stand included, so with a decent paint job, I think it'd look pretty great on display.

If you're into the more unique Zeon mecha from the One Year War, this is a pretty interesting item. It didn't get a whole lot of screen time, but it's definitely got personality — a nostalgic little piece for sure. :-)
