Following the 1/1200, a 1/2400 scale White Base has also been released. The scale is twice as small, but in terms of three-dimensional volume it's actually 1/8 the size, so it feels incredibly tiny compared to the 1/1200. It fits right in the palm of your hand, and it's roughly the same size as a cigarette pack when you set it on top of one.

Because it's so small, there are no moving parts or special gimmicks — you just build it as-is. The molded color is also a bluish white, so the straight build looks pretty plain on its own. That said, the molded detail is fairly solid for what it is, and I think with some paint it could look quite nice.

Given how bland it looks straight out of the box, this is really a kit I'd recommend to people who enjoy painting. Even at this tiny size the sculpt holds up well, and the bright base color makes it easy to paint over, so it seems like a great kit for beginners to practice their painting skills. :-)
