This kit is a 1/2400 scale model of the Zanzibar, the Zeon mobile battleship. The small scale makes it a compact little thing, but even the tiny gun barrels are carefully reproduced, so the detail actually looks pretty solid. It definitely has a lot more presence and depth than the washed-out 1/2400 White Base or the bland single-color 1/2400 Gwazine.
You can attach additional atmospheric escape boosters to the rear of the ship, but since there's no fixing mechanism, you just have to glue them on. On top of that, there's no clear guide showing where exactly they should go or how to position them — you basically have to eyeball it and stick them wherever feels right. Even for an old kit, that's a bit of a head-scratcher. ^^;
Being a small kit, there aren't really any special gimmicks to speak of, but you can check out the shape and details by taking a close look at the review photos. Either way, it's a nice little warship kit with a surprising amount of depth for its size — if you're a fan of the One Year War and the Zeon forces, it's definitely worth giving it a go. :-)
