This is the old 1/144 Gundam Spiegel from the G Gundam series — true to its Neo Germany origins, it's got a solid, rugged look with a distinctly German military feel.

Some of the earlier 1/144 G Gundam kits had joint strength issues, but the Gundam Spiegel holds up pretty well across the board. The articulation isn't great, but the joints are sturdy, which makes posing it a lot easier.

Proportion-wise, it has that stubby, compact feel typical of old 1/144 kits, so it definitely gives off that old-school vibe. It was lucky(?) enough to get an MG release down the line, though that MG ended up being one of the lower-quality entries in the lineup.

Feature-wise, the only moving gimmick is the Spiegel Blade on the forearm, and there are no accessories included at all, which feels a bit bare. That said, the color separation and stickers do a decent job of giving the straight build a color scheme that holds its own against the MG, so that's at least something.

All in all, the solid joints give it a reassuring stability, and that alone makes it worth some credit. If you're a fan of this mobile suit, it's a pretty easy old-school kit to casually build. :-)
