This kit is the 1/100 G Gundam from the old-release G Gundam series. It's not a system insert kit, but system injection and stickers deliver a great color combination.

The limb articulation itself is actually a step below the 1/100 Shining Gundam, yet somehow it pulls off poses better — funny how that works. Joint strength is solid too, making this the best-feeling kit in the series in terms of poseability. The one downside is that the chest Energy Multiplier and machine gun are swap-out parts, and the chest swap gimmick doesn't hold very securely, so they tend to fall off pretty easily.

On top of that, the forearm gimmick for the God Finger is fully articulated, and the rear leg thrusters can open up as well. Besides the articulated fingers, a soft right hand for the God Finger is also included, so you can pull off a pretty convincing Bakunetsu God Finger pose.

Overall, this is the best-quality kit in the series, and even with the MG G Gundam released in 2002, this old-release kit is still well worth building. :-)
