This is the 1/100 Rising Gundam released as part of the old-style G Gundam series. Since the Rising Gundam is based on the Shining Gundam in the lore, the basic frame is carried over from the 1/100 Shining Gundam.

As a result, the articulation and structural features are identical to the 1/100 Shining Gundam — solid joint strength and decent articulation all around. On top of that, the Rising Gundam's signature weapons have been added, including a beam machine gun, shield, heat naginata, and beam bow. Unlike the 1/144 version, the beam bow here is reproduced as an articulated piece.

Overall build quality is pretty impressive for an old-style kit, and since this is the only Rising Gundam available in 1/100 scale, it's definitely worth recommending to any G Gundam fan. :-)
