Straight build + wet decals
The forearms and thighs have an internal mechanical frame that can either be covered with armor or left exposed.
(Of course, you'll need to glue the armor on when covering it up.)

This kit is the Perfect Zeong — the only old MSV kit released in 1/250 scale. Given how enormous it is in the lore, 1/250 was really the only way to go, and it works out nicely since it ends up being roughly the same size as a 1/144 scale MS.
This is honestly one of the best kits in the entire MSV lineup, no exaggeration. The overall proportions hold up surprisingly well against the MG, and the vernier detail inside the skirt and on the foot soles is reproduced at a really impressive level. On top of that, the forearms and thighs even have internal mechanical frames (!!), so you can leave the armor off and show them exposed. The articulation isn't amazing, but the joint structure is solid enough that it's satisfying to pose, and the joint strength is stable enough that it's easy to handle.
All in all, this is a surprisingly impressive kit that'll catch you off guard with its quality and feel. It's kind of amazing that something this good came out back in 1984. It may not be the most popular mobile suit, but even 30-plus years later, the quality alone makes this a genuinely excellent kit worth appreciating. :-)
