Following the Shin Matsunaga unit, here's the MSV 1/100 high-mobility Zaku — the Zaku II MS-06R-2 Johnny Ridden's Zaku II. It's based on the existing MSV 1/100 Zaku II Shin Matsunaga unit with Johnny Ridden-specific parts added on. The shoulder spikes and the round tank on the backpack are larger, extra leg armor has been added, and internal structures have been added inside the verniers.

A new bazooka has also been added specifically for Johnny Ridden, and like the Dom, the rear magazine section can be pushed in and pulled out — but the gimmick is loose and doesn't hold position well. At a glance it looks identical to the bazooka that came with the 1/100 Local-Type Dom / Prototype Dom, but if you look closely it's actually shaped a little differently. Thanks to the addition of these Johnny Ridden-specific parts and the bazooka, the price did go up by ¥200.
Only some of the external appearance and molded colors have been changed — the underlying structure is completely identical to the Shin Matsunaga unit, so it has the same articulation characteristics. The other joints still hold reasonably well, but the hip joints are quite loose, which makes the whole body's proportions feel like they're falling apart. T_T

Anyway, fix up the hip joints a little and it's a pretty decent MSV. It's got that chunky old-kit look and more detail than you'd expect, so the visual satisfaction is actually pretty good for a vintage kit. :-)
