This kit is the Musha Gundam Mk-II, the second Musha Gundam release from 1989. It uses the same 1/144-scale level and MS Joint system as the Musha Gundam that came out alongside it, and the overall package is pretty much identical. So the kit's general characteristics are the same as the Musha Gundam too — it still features that fascinating one-piece injection-molded joint system, though the articulation feels a bit limited while the stability is decent enough.
As for the weapon loadout, the three spears from the Musha Gundam are reduced to one here, but in exchange you get two swords worn at the sides. On top of that, there's a cannon with the same sculpt as the Musha Gundam's, a new-style gun, and just like before, a flag part printed on paper is also included.
So this kit follows the exact same format as the Musha Gundam with just a different design — and together with the Musha Gundam, it feels like a landmark Gunpla that showcased some of the earliest new technologies of its era. :-)
