This kit is the 1/144 Mobile Kapool released as part of the old Turn A Gundam series. Since the in-universe size of the unit is on the smaller side, the kit itself came out quite compact — put it next to a regular 1/144 and you can really tell just how small it is. Design-wise, it kind of feels like a kid-sized version (?) of the Hygogg.

Starting with the looks, the color separation itself isn't bad, though the molded colors have a slight candy-toy vibe to them. That said, I do like how the missile ports on the chest are cleanly separated in blue.

Articulation-wise, this kit is a bit of a mixed bag — the range of motion is on the narrow side, which is really just down to the design. On the plus side, the joint strength is solid so it's easy to handle, and it actually pulls off poses pretty well considering the limited articulation. As for extra features, you can also recreate the hatch close mode by folding down the head and chest armor.

Much like the Mobile Flat, this is a kit that wins you over with its uniqueness. The molded colors leave a little to be desired, but at a low price point it's a perfectly enjoyable old-school kit to build for fun. :-)
