The third entry in the 1/144 V Gundam series is the Jamesgun, and it carries over all the same series hallmarks as the previous kits — polycap frame, runner-assembly build, clear runners, and a background card.

Design-wise, it has a similar silhouette to the second entry, the Gun-EZ — it feels like mostly just a molded color change with a few design tweaks. The shoulders still pop off easily, though the shield holds on just fine. One difference from the Gun-EZ, which could only store the bazooka on the rear skirt, is that the Jamesgun can mount both the bazooka and the beam rifle back there.

The generous accessory lineup also gives it solid value for money, and you get a third forest background card that continues on from the V Gundam and Gun-EZ ones. All in all, it's one of the better-packed old kits out there — if you like the design, it's a perfectly enjoyable old-school build. :-)
