The 10th entry in the 1/144 V Gundam series is the Shy-Tarn — a mobile suit with that distinctly villainous look typical of the Zanscare Empire. The basic contents follow the series concept, with a shared polycap frame, clear runner, and background card included. The body molded color comes in a single flat color with barely any seals provided either, so the straight build looks pretty plain.

Due to the design, the shared frame isn't used for the lower body, but the joint strength is actually better than you'd expect for such a chunky build. That said, the shield — which plugs into the forearm — doesn't lock in very securely and tends to spin around. Overall articulation on the main body isn't great, though there's an interesting gimmick where the shoulders can swing forward and backward.

Either way, being a Zanscare mobile suit, it really feels like not much care was put into it. Unless you're a die-hard V Gundam fan, this isn't really a kit that'll get you excited to build it. :-)
