Zollidia was released as the 15th kit in the old 1/144 V Gundam series. Since it's canonically a custom unit based on the Zoloat, this kit is likewise a variation kit based on the 1/144 Zoloat, with the shoulders, forearms, backpack, and other parts newly replaced.

Unlike the Zoloat's brighter color scheme, the molded colors here are shifted to a heavier, darker palette, so the overall look is noticeably different — though if you look closely, the two are almost identical in shape. The main structural differences are that the beam strings have moved from the shoulders to the backpack, and a gatling gun plus a large shield have been added.

The basic build characteristics are pretty much the same as the 1/144 Zoloat — articulation and joint strength are decent enough, but the joint structure is a bit awkward, making it tricky to get good poses. On top of that, the new shield doesn't hold its position well and keeps falling off, and while you can use the sub-arm to swing the gatling gun forward, the structure makes it frustratingly difficult to get the angle right.

It also uses the shared polycap frame like its predecessors, but notably the stand and beam parts are missing, and there's no background card either. That makes the overall package feel a bit thin compared to earlier kits in the series.

Overall this is a lower-tier kit in terms of quality, and it honestly feels like things were getting a bit rushed toward the end of the series. Unless you're a die-hard old-school V Gundam fan with a strong attachment to this particular mobile suit, it's hard to give this one a recommendation. :-)
