This kit is the 1/144 Gundam Aesculapius, released as part of the old-release New Mobile Report Gundam Wing Dual Story G-Unit series. Aesculapius is the name of the god of medicine in Greek mythology. Since the unit is set up as a stolen and modified version of Gundam Geminass Unit 2, it reuses two runners from the previous 1/144 Gundam Geminass 01 kit.

It's described as a modified version of the Geminass, but so much of the exterior has been changed that it doesn't really feel all that similar. It can transform into a close-combat mode where the backpack covers the head and the large shoulders are used as claw-equipped arms.

That said, there's a lot of stuff hanging off it and the articulation isn't great, so there aren't many poses you can really pull off. At least the joint strength isn't bad, which is a relief — but the additional weapons don't stay attached well and tend to fall off while you're handling it, so it's not the most user-friendly kit to play around with.

The kit's biggest selling point is its unique style, though the overall quality is just so-so. It seems like one to recommend mainly to fans who enjoyed the Dual Story manga or those who are into that grotesque aesthetic. :-)
