The Double X's signature three-stage folding reflector and Twin Satellite Cannon deployment gimmick are both faithfully reproduced.

That said, the three-stage folding reflector can come apart at the hinge parts while opening and closing due to some fitment issues, which is a bit of a letdown — though it does hold together fine when fully folded or fully open. As for the Energy Radiator Blades on the arms and legs, they're done as deployable parts, and the blade parts have a chrome finish that really makes them look great visually.

Overall, the quality is very similar to the Gundam X with just a different design, and with a few more parts in the mix, it came out at ¥700 — ¥200 more expensive. It did get a clean renewal as an HGAW kit in 2013, but since this old-style kit can be built for less than half the price, it's still got some appeal in terms of value for money. :-)
