This is the old-release 1/100 Gundam Double X from the Gundam X series. The earlier kits in the line often had joint balance issues, but this one bucks that trend — the joints are solid all around and the balance is great, making it a really pleasant kit to handle.

Arm articulation is good too, with a full bend achievable, and the six reflectors with their plated parts make this a kit that's genuinely fun to pose. The energy radiator blades on the arms and legs also get the plated treatment, which gives the whole thing a really flashy look.

The weapons loadout is particularly impressive. On top of the standard Twin Satellite Cannons, buster rifle, and beam sabers, you also get twin beam swords, a rocket launcher, a G-Hammer, and a beam javelin — it's like a separate weapons set was thrown in. There are even two weapon mount parts included so you can rack everything onto the rear skirt in all sorts of configurations for different poses.

In terms of overall quality and weapons variety, this is easily one of the best-packed kits in the series, and it feels like the best value for money of the bunch too. Sure, the MG came out in 2015, but this old-release kit still has plenty going for it in its own right. :-)
