This is the old-release 1/100 Gundam Airmaster Bust from the Gundam X series. Just like the 1/144 version, it's a kit based on the original 1/100 Gundam Airmaster with some parts swapped out, so the basic characteristics of the kit are the same. The shoulder joints are still annoyingly stiff, making the overall joint balance feel a bit off.

Beyond the changes to the molded colors and wing structure, a missile rifle has been newly added. The transformation process is mostly the same as before, though the wing transformation sequence has changed. And in fighter mode, a fixing pin gimmick has been added to the nose section so it can combine with the separately sold G-Falcon.

There aren't really any major changes to speak of, so it's pretty much just a variation kit — but it's got a decent size and a nice sense of volume to it, so at the low price of ¥1500, it seems like a fun old-school kit to build casually. :-)
