This is the old-release Z Gundam 1/220 Asshimar. Since the Asshimar is a fairly large MS, it was released in 1/220 scale instead of 1/144. In the original setting it transforms into a round disc-shaped mobile armor, but like the Messala, the transformation mechanism is too complex to fully replicate, so only the MS form is provided. Instead, a cute little mobile armor form is included as a bonus.

Small as it is, the detail, molding, and proportions all turned out better than expected. The straight build looks a bit plain since it's molded entirely in yellow, but once painted it should look pretty sharp. The articulation and joint strength are both solid, so you can pull off some decent poses too.

The appeal of this kit is that you can build a compact but well-packed Asshimar for the bargain price of ¥300 — it'd also make a great kit for painting practice. :-)
