The Byarlant was released as the final kit in the old-release Zeta series 1/220 scale lineup. This mobile suit has never been released in any other scale, and since the HGUC line only gave us the Byarlant Custom in its Unicorn version, the original Byarlant remains the only plastic model kit of its kind as of 2017.
The Byarlant is one of those Zeta Gundam units that really stands out with its broad-shouldered design, and even at this small scale, that large frame and wide shoulders are reproduced pretty well — the sense of volume is quite impressive for the size. The unusual design also means the joint structure is different from other kits, which gives it a unique feel when posing. The articulation itself isn't all that great, but the poses you can pull off are distinctive enough to make it a fun kit regardless.
Either way, it's a unit that'll probably split opinions since it's so different from other MS, but the fact that it's still the only original Byarlant kit out there makes it a pretty significant release in its own right. :-)
