First off, since it's molded entirely in a single shade of green, the straight build look is relatively rough compared to other kits — but the broad-shouldered proportions are pretty striking. The shoulder padding might feel a bit overdone, but the original design itself already had those emphasized shoulders, so you could say it captures the source material pretty well.

For weapons, you get the finger machine gun suited for close combat, and the left wrist extension gimmick is reproduced as a working feature. Limb articulation is exactly at old-kit level — pretty stiff and limited. On the plus side, the overall joint strength is solid, on par with HGUC standards, so there are no stability issues.

The wide, chunky old-kit proportions are its charm if anything, and even though the articulation isn't great, the solid joint strength makes it feel nice to handle. Since it's the only Galluss-J plastic model out there anyway, if you're interested in this mobile suit, it seems like a decent old kit to build with painting in mind. :-)
