This kit is the DX Versal Knight Gundam, released as a large-scale SD concept. It actually came out a little before the original SD-sized Versal Knight Gundam, and much like the SD Deluxe Gundam Daishogun, it's a kit that's roughly twice the size with upgraded color separation and gimmicks to match.

The basic kit configuration is the same as the original SD Versal Knight Gundam — you can swap between 3 armor setups: Knight Gundam, Three Sacred Treasures equipped, and Versal Knight Gundam. The display stand for each armor set and the Centaurus mode recreation are also carried over, but there are several upgrade points that come with being a DX kit.

The color separation has been improved for better straight build colors, and there are new gimmicks too — the lance claws automatically spring open, the spear can be stored on the tail, and the Versal Sword mounts onto the backpack. On top of that, as expected of a DX kit, a real fabric cape part is included, and the elbows are now articulated as well.

That said, more than any of these small upgrade points, it's honestly the sheer size and volume that makes the biggest impression. It just feels so much bigger, more elaborate, and more striking — and even though it's been out for a while, the quality still holds up well today.
