This kit is the SD Shishi Gundam released as part of the SD Sengokuden Tenka Touitsu-hen series. It's built by combining the White Lion with the base body to form the Shishi Gundam, and special parts are included for the flame manes on either side of the head. They're fuzzy, bristle-like parts that attach with double-sided tape — the effect looks decent enough, but the dye smell is pretty strong and the fur sheds easily. On top of that, touching them with your hands can leave dye on your fingers, and no matter how much you shake the fur off, strands just keep coming loose. All in all, it's a bit of a questionable part.

Each kit in the Shishiou series has its own battle form — with the Shishi Gundam, you can extend the White Lion's front and hind legs and plug the Shunpatsu no Tsu into the chest to recreate the "Shishiou no Jin" formation. Otherwise, the overall build and articulation aren't much different from the previous kits, though the lion mask structure over the head means the head can't rotate, which does make posing feel a bit more limited.

Anyway, it's fun that a unique part like the lion mane is included, but the material quality actually ends up bringing down the overall feel of the kit. That said, if you're looking to collect the full Shishiou series from the Tenka Touitsu-hen line, this one's pretty much a must-have. :-)
