The joints are solid for its size and the whole thing feels sturdy, but with so much stuff hanging off it, articulation is extremely limited and there aren't many poses you can pull off — which is a bit of a shame. On the flip side, you can fold and unfold the various gimmicks to transform it into the Daikoutai sealed state or the Guangdi Bird (Shining Bird), and the chest section that moves for the transformation even has a spring gimmick built in.

Glow-in-the-dark parts are also applied to the eyes and head antenna — turn the lights off and you can see the glow effect to some degree, but the eyes, which you'd think would be the main attraction, don't really shine that brightly. It tends to be the head antenna that stands out more.
