This is the SD Guren Gundam, released as part of the Shin SD Sengokuden Tensei Shichinin-shū series. It's got big head antennae reminiscent of Double Zeta, and shoulder missile hatches that look a lot like Gundam Heavyarms. True to the Tensei Shichinin-shū series, the basic build uses two soft-material frames and solid color separation. That said, there's a relatively large number of seals, and hollow-backs show up not just on the rear of the arms but on parts of the weapons as well.

The highlight of this kit is definitely the Phalanx Mode — you remove the chest armor to expose the gatling gun, then unfold the shoulder hatches in two stages to deploy the weapons. The Armstrong Cannon that was mounted on the back slides into the hand, and the high-mobility sniper cannon on the shoulder swings forward, giving you a pretty impressive full-weapons-blazing pose. Outside of this mode, though, there are no separate weapons or accessories to speak of — the kit really goes all-in on this one pose.

Either way, the Phalanx Mode is genuinely unique and looks fantastic, so if you're into this kind of aggressive, all-guns-out visual, this seems like a kit worth having a go at. :-)
