The helmet has been changed, the thighs are longer, and the direction of the helmet placement on the shoulders has been reversed.

Together with SD Younen Gunshi Ikazuchimaru, Tensho Karyudo Mk-II, and Onmitsu Ninja Nomaru.

You can have Shonen Musha Retsumaru ride as the pilot, or do a sword collaboration.

The sword from SD Shonen Musha Retsumaru, the helmet and chest armor from Shonen Kenshi Rakan, the wings from Shonen Hoshi Mukan,
the weapons from Younen Gunshi Ikazuchimaru, and the armaments from Gounetsu Karakuri-shi ZZ — all combined onto the back
in the Bukabuka full armor collaboration.

This kit is the Kido Musha Rekka Daihagane, released as part of the SD Gundam Force Emaki Musha Retsuden Bukabuka Hen arc. It's a variation kit of the previously released Kido Musha Daihagane, and at first glance the change in molded color is the most obvious thing — but the helmet design has also been changed, and with extra parts added to the knees, it's a bit taller too. On top of that, the direction of the helmet mounted on the shoulders has been flipped around.

The other basic features and gimmicks are pretty much the same as before — the shoulder Taiyokoho open gimmick, the hand launch gimmick, V-Maru's cockpit boarding, and the transformation into Gouhagane form are all there just like the original. On top of that, the original Daihagane helmet parts are included as well, so you can actually build it as the red Kido Musha Daihagane by swapping out the Rekka Daihagane-specific parts.

For collaboration features, you can have Shonen Musha Retsumaru ride as the pilot or apply his sword, and you can do the full Bukabuka armor collaboration with everything equipped. To pull that off, you'll need parts from 5 separate kits — the sword from SD Shonen Musha Retsumaru, the helmet and chest armor from Shonen Kenshi Rakan, the wings from Shonen Hoshi Mukan, the weapons from Younen Gunshi Ikazuchimaru, and the armaments from Gounetsu Karakuri-shi ZZ. The concept is great, but actually getting everything to stay on is another story — a lot of the parts keep falling off, so the fit just isn't great. (It was a real pain to photograph..)

Anyway, it's a variation kit, but it's got plenty of personality in its own right, and I think the real appeal here is being able to build the Bukabuka full armor collaboration that wraps up the entire Musha Retsuden series. :-)
