Sangokuden Gaiden Muyong Gyeokturok is a side story to SD Sangokuden, featuring 12 characters who don't appear in the main series — each one getting their own episode as the protagonist. A total of 12 plastic model kits were released, and all of them are variation kits based on existing kits with one or two new runners added. Most use kits from the 1990s through 2003 as their base, so they tend to be smaller and feel lower in quality compared to the SD Sangokuden kits. The biggest defining feature of this series seems to be that each character has their own unique special move.

This kit is the 11th release in the Sangokuden Gaiden Muyong Gyeokturok series — SD Ukin Gundam — and is based on the SD Supa Gundam released in 1996. The blue armor's molded color has been changed to black, and the shoulder and chest armor along with the helmet have been redesigned, with additional weapons included. A leg joint has also been added between the lower body and thighs, making the figure slightly taller.

The new weapon is a club called the Hekyogon, and you can attach various existing blades to it as well as the Eunlanga that was plugged into the helmet. The special move is the "Baekgwa Heuksagon," which delivers a hundred strikes in an instant with the Hekyogon, and just like the SD Supa Gundam's Baekho-hwan, you can lay the body down and transform it into a tiger form.

The biggest new feature is definitely the added leg extension joints. The figure does get a bit taller, but having longer legs doesn't really translate into better articulation. An extra set of these extension joints is included as a spare, and the manual suggests applying them to the SD Sunwook Gundam.
