----- 400-series SD Sangokuden Series General Notes ------------------------
The SD Sangokuden series was released between 2007 and 2010 as 37 BB Senshi kits (#300–362), followed by a separately numbered run of 46 Sangokuden BBW kits (a.k.a. Shin Sangokuden). While many of the Sangokuden BBW kits were reuses of the original BB Senshi Sangokuden molds, some were brand-new releases. Those BBW original kits were later brought back under the BB Senshi numbering system as re-releases — that's what the 400-series SD Sangokuden lineup is all about. This series launched in February 2018, with eight kits released all at once under BB Senshi numbers 405–412. With the exception of the last one — Chōsen Qubeley — all of them are repackaged versions of BBW series original kits with newly added accessories.

This kit is the YuanShao Bawoo & YuXi, released as part of the BB Senshi Sangokuden repackage series. It's essentially the existing Sangokuden BBW Zhen YuanShao Bawoo with a large YuXi added to the mix. The Bawoo itself comes out in pretty much the same molded colors as before — the only real difference is a slight change in the cape's color. The large YuXi looks like the same shape as the ones that came with the Tianyugai or Dong Zhuo Zaku, just scaled up, and it has a stamp engraved on the bottom.

Everything else — the basic contents and articulation — is the same as before, so for this review you really just need to check out the newly added YuXi. :-)
