This lineup was launched alongside the 2010 anime "SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors," and uses its own numbering system separate from the regular BB Senshi line. Most of the kits are essentially repackaged versions of the existing BB Senshi Sangokuden kits, while a few were released as original kits.

The repackaged kits come with slightly tweaked molded colors along with added weapons or accessories, though some have no additional parts at all. They also include extra eye seals. So honestly, a lot of these kits feel like little more than simple color variants. Another notable change is that "Shin" was added to the front of each kit's name, and the base price went up slightly to ¥600.

This kit is SD Shin Shouretsutei Ryuusou Ryubi Gundam & Tengyokugai Souryuu, released as No. 46 in the SD Gundam Sangokuden BBW series. As the name suggests, it's a combo kit bundling the SD Shin Shouretsutei Ryuusou Ryubi Gundam together with the Tengyokugai Souryuu. The Shin Shouretsutei Ryuusou Ryubi Gundam and Sekiro have slightly deeper molded colors compared to before, while the Tengyokugai Souryuu's dragon head has been changed to a gold-plated finish, with a newly added clear blue dragon head that can be layered over it. Essentially this is a package kit combining the Tengyokugai Souryuu form with the Shin Shouretsutei Ryuusou Ryubi Gundam — since the kit's features are otherwise the same as before, for this review you really just need to check out the updated molded colors and the new parts. :-)
