<SD Chibi Senshi Series General Notes> --------------------------------------------
The SD Chibi Senshi series ran from 1992 to 1994 and features the smallest SD Gundam kits around, coming in at just about 4.5–5cm tall. That's exactly where the "chibi" (tiny) name comes from. It's a lineup that takes SD Gundam characters from various series and turns them into small, simple plastic model kits.

Every Chibi Senshi kit can also be displayed in frame mode by simply plugging the head, arms, and legs into a frame. The frame included is one of six types chosen at random: No. 1 Speed Frame, No. 2 Agility Frame, No. 3 Radar Frame, No. 4 Strength Frame, No. 5 Knowledge Frame, or No. 6 Mobility Frame.

Since the build is so simple, articulation is pretty one-dimensional — just the arms, feet, and head rotating. Most kits come with a chibi medal, and if you collect several you can link them together, which is a nice touch. Some kits also offer a transformation feature through parts recombination, or come with a separate stand for displaying the armor. One more thing to note: the original release price was ¥300, which was about as cheap as it gets, but kits reprinted after 2008 have gone up to ¥400 due to inflation, so keep that in mind.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is SD Chibi Senshi No. 2 — the SD Burning Knight F91 Jr., a character from SD Gundam Gaiden: Seikihei Monogatari. True to its knight-type roots, it comes with the manual-cutout cape feature and a stand for displaying the armor. Beyond that, it's a pretty typical SD Knight Gundam-style kit with nothing too out of the ordinary. Like any Chibi Senshi kit, it's tiny and the straight build looks a bit bare-bones — but honestly, that's part of what makes it so charming. :-)
